I have always put joy in writing. Being left-handed is feasibly one of the reasons. Howbeit, gathering information is at the top of my list. I can amass, organize, clarify, and proceed with straightforward thoughts and ideas. It does not matter if I am learning about the 12 controversial disciples of Jesus Christ or how to bake a chocolate cake from scratch. As long as I am passionate, driven, and logical, I can attain any task or goal in whatever I put my mind.

Regardless of where we are and what we experience, we always learn. But, depending on our thinking, feelings, beliefs, etc., we can either remember extra details about something, somewhere, and/or someone or forget entirely. Thus, if we have an important duty or desire in our hearts, then we should each get:

• notebook(s) that is nice, formal, sturdy, and simple to save data, thoughts, steps, etc.
• a pack of diverse ink pens (blue, black, and red) for handwriting
• 1 to 3 highlighters (yellow recommended) to emphasize special or particular words for our benefits
• permanent marker(s) (optional) for identifying or titling notebook(s)

Now, ask yourself a couple of these questions:

• Do you (American or Westernized man) wish to earn extra money?
• Do you want to make better or smarter decisions that are going to refine your life?
• Are you interested in seeking the woman of your dreams overseas or even where you are locally or nationally?
• Do you want your never-ending problems to come to a permanent end?

If you answer ‘yes’ to each or all 4 questions, then become an autodidact or a teacher to yourself today. Adopt a new technique and see education in a positive and enthusiastic manner. On the following 3 categories, I give you both personal and professional bases for each sort so that you can become urged to take extreme or extraordinary action in your life as I currently do.

personal reason – improving your memory

Put your mind at work by reading actively and jotting keywords, topics, thoughts, step-by-step plans, etc. on nice, formal, and durable notebook(s). Your brain is capable of processing information quickly or normally by separating extended details. In order to do that aptitude, you can select either a pack of separate notebooks or a single notebook with 5+ subjects. Dividing overwhelming or difficult text/words based on category, chronological order, level of importance, etc. has enormously helped me:

• write and publish over 300 blog posts for the past 7 years
• create a logical online business of 4 years with someone (Elizabeth) I have not seen in person for almost 5 years
• write successful resumes, lists, how-to steps, webpage sketches (for FCW website), and other files on Microsoft Word, Adobe Illustrator, and other software apps
• support family members, former coworkers, and other locals who have been struggling with their issues

Like myself, you can avoid being frustrated, hiring indifferent and/or greedy professionals, or taking expensive classes by just writing main points from books, articles, blog posts, and other physical/digital references. First, focus on the thesis or topic of each source that you read online, offline, or both. Therefore, you are exercising and allowing your brain to better your intellectual, social, creative, cognitive, etc. skills. You should be able to prepare for the next step, stage, or phase of your life consequentially. Next, pay your attention to the small details or supporting words that confuse or frustrate you. Study and define each detail/word before creating your own dictionary by listing all words/details alphabetically on physical notebook(s), Microsoft Word, or both. Despite how complex the topic(s) that interests or bothers you, you can still remain focused, rational, and determined on your aspiration(s). Your brain would thank, support, protect, and direct you along your journey.

professional reason – obtaining knowledge/expertise to produce a successful job, career, or business

If you truly desire a specified job, career, and/or company, you should prioritize or consider note-taking as your ultimate guide. Obviously, God should come first and foremost in your life because He controls, creates, etc. everything and everyone in this planet. Nevertheless, ask, seek, and let Him clarify, organize, etc. your notes, which are mixed of certain keywords, topics, and other terms that you copy from varied but credible sources and details that you summarize. The results are motivating and preparing yourself to take substantial action. Whether you are attending a job interview, writing/typing and sharing a business plan with investors, or taking an exam/test that can help you pass a class, you are going to be relieved thanks to unlimited support from our Creator. In addition, the effective information is able to breathe extra life within you. No matter what changes or challenges that you face professionally, personally, or both, always hold on to your relationship with God and your competence (through Him) to write, collect, and organize notes as your top values. You can save yourself from (more) disappointment or frustration if you choose not to turn to procrastination or laziness as most human beings do.

personal reason – keeping peace, joy, and optimism between yourself and other individuals

Audio such as instrumental music, music with sung vocals, or just spoken words of human being(s) can encourage you to enjoy your day especially if you are dealing with never-ending issues at home, your job, and/or elsewhere. Describing the type of audio that you constantly listen or hear based on its facts and/or your subjective thoughts can lead you to solutions to your long-term problems plus (more) creativity to invigorate your mental health. Composers and poets perhaps fit in this category. Sometimes or probably every blog post that I write and publish, I develop something poetic on the conclusion section with either sound or silence. As a result, according to my experiences, you can still expand your originality anyway. After all, God has intended for humanity, including us, to reach our destinies whether we are trapped at a mute, creepy, and unfamiliar place/area or invited to an unpleasant and uncomfortable party with loudmouthed and carefree acquaintances/strangers. Recording notes is the crucial key and helpful distraction from our nightmarish surroundings.

professional reason – enhancing your personality at work, school, or both

If you are or have been frequently mistreated, ridiculed, intimidated, harassed, and/or bullied by other people at your job or school, you can turn to audio, music, and/or a podcast as your comforter, friend, and refuge. Depicting them can help you gain (more) confidence in standing up for yourself and bringing evil people to justice. Another advantage of recording words from audio/music/podcast is to pay extra attention to details that most humans ignore or forget. Small, difficult, etc. words can undeniably help you visualize a large picture of anything, anywhere, or anyone whom you highly respect or favor. Author Mei Phing Lim of “LinkedIn” website confirms my saying due to her early years of struggling and failure in her audit and business career(s). I can relate to her because I have been amateurish or defective with my writing, critical thinking, creative thinking, planning, etc. skills while I have begun this blog 7 years ago. The fortunate fact that we have persisted and improved our talents should reassure you that repeating the same action, whether it is easy or difficult, increases your ability and chance to take yourself and your loved ones to a higher level personally, professionally, financially, etc. The more information that we learn and write from audio/music/podcast can conduct us to a place on cloud nine. For that reason, that positive energy can not only better our mental health but also change our bonds with other individuals too. Unless you are forbidden to listen/hear certain audio, music, and/or podcasts at work or school, you should carry out such action with the aim of remaining on good terms with even unreasonable coworkers/managers/classmates/other workers.

personal reason – being entertained by informative videos

Like photos or images, videos give fast learning, thinking, or understanding to multiple people regardless of their cognitive skills. In addition, streaming or watching videos easily helps them (including us) engage and sense something fun out of a blend of motion, imagery, text, audio, etc. Recording written details while visiting YouTube, Dailymotion, Tubi, Netflix, TikTok, another video content website/app, and/or even an offline mode of your computer, tablet, television, or phone is a major bonus. Pretend that the streaming (online) or downloaded (offline) video or videos is your instructor(s) and that you are its or their student. While it supplies you a combination of entertainment and information (which is also known as “infotainment”) consistently, you are able to take good notes that can help you progress with the central idea or point of the streaming or downloaded video. If the speaker(s) or narrator(s) of the video talks quickly, then simply and continuously rewind and replay it until you wholly comprehend the difficult words that he, she, they, or it speaks. Grateful and gradual, your mind can rest and untangle complicated details that have given you a hard time in the past. Eventually, you are going to become happier and more energized to do desirable activities solo or with loved ones while easily studying, succeeding, and even teaching them plus others how to repeat what you do anent “infotainment”.

professional reason – helping self as well as others make smarter decisions

Today, streaming or downloaded videos are just as necessary and beneficial to humanity as books, newspapers, blog posts, and other references are. I highly recommend people who wish to build lucrative businesses, ace on their job interviews, or generate their salaries from different sources (besides their jobs that they can lose due to company layoffs, being late often, or constant fighting/debates with other workers) to collect new data everywhere they go both online and offline. My top reason is gaining deep insight into the minds of various specialists. Whoever (i.e. Warren Buffet, Anne Sullivan, George Washington Carver, or even the Lord Jesus Christ) has triumphed in the complications of education, workforces, and/or finances deserves to be recognized and scrutinized globally and eternally. Like myself, do not deprive yourself of essential details/facts (from people with years of experience) so that you can grow your career, business, revenue, etc. Despite of how circumstances seem and how society thinks and behaves nowadays, you need to realize that there is always a positive side of a negative thing, person, place, or so. Just consult someone who has gone through hell but still has managed his or her life financially, academically, and/or professionally. Whether you talk to him/her online or in person, please:

• keep a positive demeanor
• dress appropriately
• think or put others above yourself

The result is that he or she may have faith in your character and consider you a caring, respectful, and considerate friend. He/she may make a special effort to support, teach, and even give you money for your needs. If he/she gives you unexpected gift(s), then you should forever cherish him/her for his/her expert knowledge, skills, relationship, etc.

Experienced people, whether they are wealthy or broke or certified legally or considered losers by society, are diverse and important to God. Hence, we should take everyone with respect regardless of our feelings toward him or her. If the Lord sees our positive/selfless attitude and His positive traits within us, He is capable and willing to send the right experts to help take our careers, jobs, and/or businesses to a high level. Based on my experiences, relying on money, college degree(s), and other physical/materialistic possessions may keep you stuck in either:

• a life of mediocrity and shortage
• or a life of loss, unhappiness, and regret

Conclusion

Notes are just as valuable as our money and valuable possessions are. We need to handwrite or type more notes in order to obtain new/additional knowledge. Understanding what we want/need to perform is crucial to our success and well-being.

Knowledge becomes our power. Power increases our motivation. Motivation guides us to a life of gained wealth from smart work, earned respect from other people, and endless opportunities that can benefit your loved ones.

True success promises us a future beyond our wildest dreams. Therefore, we can share our legacies with family and friends. Our ideal wives and possible children and grandchildren would be big pluses.

I recommend that you do these 2 indispensable duties for financial, personal, professional, etc. growth:

• Help other humans who want to be helped, listen to your words of advice/encouragement, and take action for improvement of their own lives and those of their loved ones.
• Study and teach yourself and others the ways and steps of how to make more money.
  • I highly recommend that you use some of the money that you have/earn for investments.
    • You can select business(es), company stocks, exchange-traded funds (ETFs), bonds, real estate, cryptocurrencies, and/or other assets.

Again, while reading text/words, listening to audio/music/podcasts/speaker(s), or seeing online/offline videos, create a plain way for listing difficult keywords, topics, and other terms on your notebook(s).

If you accomplish what I am currently doing, you are using and allowing your brain to process new/extra details at an easy level.

Thinking smarter is the correct and straight way to financial, mental, etc. triumph.

Working harder, like most people do, is just going to leave you stuck somewhere you are miserable or worse.

I say this due to my negative past experiences.

DIY (Do-It-Yourself) Self-Teaching Dictionary Guide – 10 Steps

Step 1 – Take random but necessary notes on notebook(s) regardless of which source (e.g. a textbook, online article, or a YouTube video) you observe. Keep handwriting and collecting information (i.e. compound interest, bull market, expense ratio, robo-advisor) that describes or relates to the topic (i.e. finances/investments) that interests you. Worry about organizing or putting them in alphabetical order for a later time.

Step 2 – Create an alphabetical list (from 0-9 to the final letter ‘Z’) on Microsoft Word or a similar app.

Step 3 – Print the extended list which should be between 25 and 30 pages long. Have a sheet of printing of paper for each of the ‘A‘, ‘B’, ‘C’…’Z’ lists as well as the numbered list (0-9). Staple all the pages together.

Step 4 – Handwrite keywords, topics, events, etc. on the long list in alphabetical order.

Step 5 – Get additional sheets of paper if you learn and need to gather more terms/words from videos, books, blog posts, articles, etc. Include the extra sheets with your long alphabetical list by un-stapling and then re-stapling all pages together alphabetically.

Step 6 – Retain taking notes (while learning from online/offline references) and placing each word/term in its proper list based on its initial letter. For example, if you write the financial word or term ‘dividend‘ or stock symbol/ticker symbol ‘DGRO‘, put it on the ‘D’ section of the alphabetical list.

Step 7 – Research, define, and study most or all words/terms that you find or learn online/offline nonstop. There is no time limit for doing this. What matters is piling up your original dictionary that is going to lead you to full understanding of your chosen subject and achievement of your goals.

Step 8 – Congratulate yourself because you are now a student and teacher to yourself. Like myself, you thus have the inspiration and skill to make wise choices and execute your personal and professional ambitions.

Step 9 – Once or while you turn your dreams into a reality, go support, teach, etc. your relatives, friends, and others based on your knowledge, positive experiences, etc. Send them physical and/or electronic copies of your extended alphabetical list. If you can create a blank version of it so that they can write their own words/terms based on the topics that interest them, not only would you be doing them a huge favor but also you are making this process easier for them to follow and understand totally.

Step 10 – For more clarity, professionalism, etc., continue typing definitions, examples, and so forth regarding words that you read, listen, or watch online and offline. Share the new/additional information that you currently or recently learn with other people (whether they are family members, friends, acquaintances, or total strangers) via email, text messaging, or in-person communication. Puzzled or not, they would appreciate your long alphabetical list sooner or later.
