I have become disappointed about my November 2016 trip in Santiago, Dominican Republic. But, I have felt the same when I have become unable to return there due to the end of romance tours from A Foreign Affair agency and a lousy, dishonest, and manipulative Dominican interpreter. Pondering a return trip to Las Vegas or even Colombia has entered my mind. I however have become curious about Ukraine, its culture, its unforgettable flag, and of course its irresistible ladies. So, I have started planning, budgeting, and paying for an individual romance tour in its famous city (Odessa). I have become nervous but excited and eager to vacation in my third country for meeting, dating, and possibly connecting with the opposite sex.

On one Monday night in April 2018, for an online form to complete and submit to A Foreign Affair headquarters, I have selected profiles of particular women based on their good looks, personality traits, and so forth. I have noticed a strange feeling whenever I view the profile of Victoria. I have thought about rejecting her and finding someone else to pick instead. Nevertheless, God has asked or encouraged me to choose her anyway. Because I have obeyed Him, I have eventually faced these 6 positive results:

• Being found by Victoria and Elizabeth on a Monday morning (the day after I first arrived in Odessa) while I have been lost and confused at a street area
• Receiving nonstop messages by Elizabeth about Victoria’s ongoing interest in me
• Letting myself get to know and connect with both ladies well through monthly Skype video calls
• Making a return trip to Odessa in August 2019 so that I can reunite with them in person again
• Spending more time with them plus meeting Valeria and 3 other ladies who are part of Elizabeth’s “Just Married” agency
• Getting the inspiration to create Foreign Chat Web (FCW) business and ask Elizabeth to join me as co-manager

2020 has been the start of this decade. However, a new problem has come with it – COVID-19 (aka coronavirus). I have not been able to go on a third vacation in Odessa as a result. Plus, my family has given me an ultimatum with a negative outcome if I have gone back there. Although I have been somewhat disappointed, I have remained positive about Ukraine, its beautiful culture, and obviously its attractive ladies. Thus, with endless support from Elizabeth, I have created a Facebook page, Instagram page, and then multiple FCW videos by different people including myself. I have been fortunate to go on a 9-day trip in Virginia, a state where I have lived from 2002 to 2016. I have still communicated with her as both my translator and new business partner, Victoria (for a short time), and Valeria through Skype video chats every month. While Victoria has moved on with her life perhaps in United States (my nation), I have done the same through FCW business. Valeria and Elizabeth have eventually surprised me with their original and own FCW videos. Another woman (Elena), whom I have never met, has repeated their action too. I have become addicted to her webseries (“Take a Tour with Elena”) and eager to see more episodes. Unfortunately, in late February 2022, my happiness level has decreased due to the start of the invasion, terrorism, and ruthless war (which have been caused by disgraced and despicable Russian president Vladimir Putin and his troops/associates) throughout Ukraine.

Elizabeth has stopped communicating with me for a couple of months since March of that year. Despite of my disappointment, I have continued running our online business and posting FCW videos (which Vita Shafinska and her 2 friends (Liza and Olesya) have done) on social media. I have begun to appreciate and respect them and other Ukrainian ladies more. Howbeit, Elizabeth’s return and healing from months of discouragement have brought us almost back to the same emotional place we have been in that previous year. To make up for the lost time and help herself and FCW business move forward, she has created her own series called “Travel with Elizabeth”. I apologize for going off-topic because I have wanted to explain my story about Elizabeth and other ladies in/from Ukraine. But, it relates to the main subject of this blog post – the current living situations of Ukrainian citizens during Putin’s war. All of the people are divided into these 3 specific categories based on what and where they choose to end up:

Group 1 – Ukrainians who Relocate Abroad

According to an article from “Operational Data Portal” website, 6,483,500 Ukrainian people have departed from their country since Putin’s endless war has started on February 24, 2022. Their rationales for such drastic action are:

• protection from dangerous areas, unexpected bombs, deadly weapons, and/or unpredictable Russian soldiers with evil, murderous, etc. hearts and intentions
• peace of mind away from complications in Ukraine
• free or reduced prices for shelter, food, beverages, education, transportation, and other needs
• reception of job, financial, etc. opportunities if they are willing to move or become citizens of EU/NATO nations

On the positive side, Ukrainian refugees get free or low-priced healthcare benefits, housing arrangements, childcare benefits, and so on. The bad/sad news is that they may become homesick, depressed, lonesome, confused, lost, and/or alienated from their loved ones. So, they can turn to the Lord Jesus Christ and pray/ask Him for what they need/want. They can also communicate or reach out to their relatives, friends, and/or acquaintances from their country of origin for new/updated information and a possibility of returning there safely.

If you and other American/Western men still wish to meet, date, and connect with Ukrainian women who reside in Germany, Poland, Romania, and/or other NATO/EU countries, please get in touch with Ukrainian friends and/or former or current translators (if you have traveled to Ukraine in the past). Consequently, you are capable of developing a solid relationship with a lady regardless of her current location.

Group 2 – Ukrainians who Return to Their Homeland

Perchance 11 million Ukrainian refugees are reported for going back to their homeland temporarily or permanently. They are desperate to reunite with their family members, friends, and probably strangers who remind them of their culture, backgrounds, etc. Another reason is making sure that their potential children and grandchildren grow up, experience, study facts, and know who they really are in Ukraine. Furthermore, here are 3 extra purposes for their becoming Ukrainian citizens again:

• homesickness
• restoration or improvement of the culture, economy, religions, etc. of their native land
• creation of successful jobs, businesses, and other opportunities for themselves and their loved ones

Those who return to their old lives or start new ones in the same nation should have a (more) positive attitude and new skills to apply to their difficult tasks and responsibilities. They should remain in peace mentally and emotionally even if they live in (somewhat) destroyed or less developed places/areas. In addition, they should come up with victorious plans and solutions before they possibly put themselves in (more) jeopardy, face (more) loss of their loved ones, and/or misplace the things that they have loved for a long time.

How can they move forward and gain more joy, freedom, peace, safety, etc.? First and foremost, they need to constantly pray, rely, and thank the Lord God (who possesses the positive qualities) for everything that they have, need, and wish. Then, they need to have the same mindset that He has toward every existent thing and creature. Like Him, they can see the positive side and results that emerge from the ugly, negative, and brutal war caused by evil Putin. In the meantime, you and other American/Western guys can still contact and seek help from A Foreign Affair staff teammates regarding email correspondence, video chatting services, and/or face-to-face meetings with Ukrainian women. Final Group – Ukrainians who Stay in Their Country Despite of Putin’s War

Natives who are stubborn, adamant, fearless, and/or determined to enjoy their lives regardless of the never-ending war choose to remain in the Eastern European nation. They are neither worried about the negative consequences of their actions nor concerned about the possibility of losing their lives to ruthless Russian invaders. Therefore, they deserve a big worldwide recognition plus unlimited assistance from global leaders regarding the tools that the citizens need for war victory, professional and academic success, and so forth.

This group would do whatever it takes to help its younger and future generations (e.g. their children and grandchildren) get much stability, familiarity, and love in their motherland. Plus, they all want to remain in their comfort zone even though they may feel uncomfortable, unsafe, and/or unusual. The third reason is the continuation of attending online/physical classes in order to graduate and obtain advanced college degrees, certificates, etc. Just like they refuse to give up on their education, they also avoid letting other people (especially Russian invaders) belittle, discriminate, or treat them as their subordinates. Having these positive behaviors is not only helpful to the current offspring and future grandchildren of adult Ukrainian residents but also inspiring to the rest of the world too.

Facing fear solo or together helps Ukrainians become bolder. Not caring what others say or think anymore leads them to extra confidence. But, if they are not very skilled, knowledgeable about their strengths or the weaknesses of their enemies, and/or equipped with effective weaponry that is given by United States and NATO/EU countries, they can become easy targets to Russian soldiers who support Putin. Being harmed, losing their lives, and/or being forced to emigrate to Russia are perhaps the negative consequences of physically or mentally weak Ukrainian people.

As long as they retain communicating, planning, and being frank with themselves and others, they can achieve their long-term goals in their native land. American/Western men who are still interested in marital relationships with Ukrainian women need to do the same actions as well. Here are some examples that the men can follow for their journeys to international love:

• Communication
  • Contacting Ukrainian expert(s) and/or resident(s) for guidance, advice, help, etc. about their nation
• • Watching, commenting, and waiting for replies on certain YouTube videos
• • Using mobile app(s) for electronic translation whether it is free or paid
  • Hiring human translator(s)
• Organization
  • Planning a detailed vacation (through steps or stages) so that they can meet the ladies in Ukraine (despite of possible danger) or ask and pay the females to travel and meet them in nearby nations (Poland, Germany, Romania, etc.)
  • Creating a list of things to take for vacationing, another list for things to do before, during, and after the trip, etc.
• Honesty
  • Budgeting the amount of money to save, amount of money to spend, etc. for themselves and the ladies of their choice regarding transportation, apartment/hotel stay, food, entertainment, and so forth

Conclusion

Whether Ukrainian citizens have chosen to stay, leave their country, or return there, I have a full understanding for their actions. They are doing what is best for themselves and their loved ones. They realize the positive and negative consequences of their actions. But, they are willing to take responsibility and move forward to better and safer lives.

I also praise American/Western males who still crave attention, true love, and companionship with Ukrainian females as well. Some of the men are willing to risk their safety, health, and lives by entering the Eastern European nation through train or vehicle transportation, meeting/dating/bonding with the ladies they like and vice versa, and possibly encountering Russian invaders/soldiers wherever they go there. Other men, who choose to stay in an adjacent country (e.g. Poland, Romania, or Germany) that is protected under NATO, EU, or both alliances, are considered smarter in my candid opinion. If the women whom they are interested show up to meet/date/connect with them and the men have sufficient amounts of money for the transportation, hotel or Airbnb apartment stay, food, and other needs of the females, then they should have great times and create positive memories together. Taking photos, recording video clips, and sharing them with family, friends, and followers on social media are excellent ideas.

I would forever be grateful to the Lord Jesus Christ that I have gone to Odessa, Ukraine in April – May 2018 and August 2019. As a result, I have built a long-lasting relationship with my former translator and current business partner (Elizabeth). I have dated 5 beautiful ladies (with astounding personalities) from her dating agency. I hope that her episodes on TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube make her popular someday. As much as I would like to see her in the flesh again and hopefully grow our relationship, I would be happy even if she does find a man who is more suitable for her. After all, that is the ultimate goal of FCW business – helping Ukrainian ladies like her pursue the men of their dreams.

Elizabeth, Valeria, and I are better and happier people today because the Lord God has successfully brought us together through electronic communication and of course FCW business. They plus the business are the best gifts that God has given me since I have met both Ukrainian women. Because God has exceeded our expectations, I know that He would do the same for numerous Ukrainian refugees and citizens too.

Slavi Ukraini…in other words, “Glory to Ukraine”.

May they represent the Biblical and godly character (David) so that they can truly defeat Goliath…or should I say David’s real enemy (Saul) who represents Putin and his Russian invaders.
